Sociologists estimate that, if you reduce all mankind to the village of a hundred inhabitants, taking into consideration all the ratio, let's look at the population of this village:
57 Asians
21 Europeans
14 Americans (North and South)
8 Africans
52 would be female
48 men
70 are not white
30 white
89 - heterosexual
11 - homosexual
6 people would possess 59% the entire world's wealth and all six would be from USA
80 will not have adequate living conditions
70 would be illiterate.
50 would be malnourished
1 die
2 born
1 will have a computer
1 (only one) will have higher education.
If you look at the world from this perspective, it becomes clear that the need for solidarity, understanding, tolerance and education is very high.
Continuing the above, it can be argued that:
if this morning you woke up healthy, you are happier than 1 million people who will not survive this week.
If you have never experienced war, the loneliness of imprisonment, agony of torture or hunger - you are luckier than 500 million people in this world.
If you are unable to go to Church (synagogue, mosque, pagoda etc.) without fear and without threat of imprisonment or death, you are happier than 3 billion people in this world.
If your refrigerator has food, you're suited and booted, you have a roof over my head and a bed - you are richer than 75% of people in this world.
If you have a Bank account, money in your wallet and some coins in the moneybox, you belong to 8% of wealthy people in this world.
If you are reading this, you are doubly lucky, because:
1. someone thought of you and counted all the figures for you;
2. you don't belong to those 2 billion people who cannot read.
once a wise man said:
- · work like you don't need money,
- · love like you never been hurt
- · dance like no one is watching,
- · sing like no one can hear you, and you'll live like a Paradise on earth.
